Hello my name is Andy Sillence and I am the Area Manager for Portsmouth and East Hampshire.
Football is a very important part of my life and has contributed to a lot of my time outside of the jobs I have had in my life. To make this an every day part of my life and to ensure that football is not just a hobby of mine, I have decided to open the Portsmouth and East Hampshire branch of Active Soccer.
I will use all of my knowledge and know how on giving all the children, both boys and girls and of what ever ability, the time, effort and my 100% attention. I want to know that when I have finished each coaching session that the children have thoroughly enjoyed their time, learnt from this and will return to enjoy more coaching session by me and my team and to also pass on their experiences to their friends and family.
If you wish to know more about my courses please contact me on the email address or telephone numbers shown on this page and we can register your child on a course, enabling them to get to know me as a coach and my coaching methods and my coaching team.
I look forward to hearing from you and meeting you on one of my courses!

June 04 2015Last weekend, Active Soccer Portsmouth's PDC visited the Active Soccer Centre in Sefton, Liverpool. There they played local teams from the Sefton and Warrington areas in a round robin scenario. This was followed by a trip to view Anfield and then on the Sunday, they visited Everton FC Finch Farm where they were given 90 minutes coaching by the academy staff there, which was finished off with a tour of the facilities. Active Soccer Portsmouth would like to thank Mark Whitwood, the Active Soccer Centre, Liverpool FC and Everton FC for their hospitalities. We have come away with areas we now know we need to work on and focus to take these talented bunch of players forward and to develop. Here's to the next tour away.
