Fun, Healthy & Inclusive football coaching & sport for young people

As both a coach & player I have gained many things from Football and feel privileged to be in a position to provide this opportunity to many children.

The best thing as a football coach is watching the children you coach develop many new skills while having great fun and improving their confidence. Through football children can not only keep themselves healthy but also make new friends.

All of these things led me to becoming a football coach and it is something I am still massively enthusiastic about..

If you would like to have fun, meet new friends & learn lots of fantastic new football skills Active Soccer is the place for you regardless of current experience or ability.

We are currently working in 18 schools throughout Warrington delivering After School Clubs, lunch time sessions and PPA.

Simon and Will have been delivering football coaching to KS2 for the past year and a half. I have been really impressed with the quality of coaching, their enthusiasm and reliability. The supervision and safety of the pupils has been excellent and the coaches have built positive relationships with the children, who have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions and developed their skills. Children attending the club are regulalrly rewarded for their achievements and efforts through presentations made by the coaches during assembly time. Simon has also organised for the children to play in a curtain-raiser games at a Warrington Town Football Club which was an amazing and unforgettable experience for the pupils involved. The coaches also support our school Summer Fayre by organising football activities in order to raise money for school funds. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Simon and Will for their hard work; I look forward to working with you again next year!

October Half-Term Football Camp 2010

I just wanted to say a huge thank you to the coaching staff of “Active Soccer” for organising such a well-structured, fun and professional football camp over the half-term. While the boys who I had attend the camp learnt about skills and strategies involved in football, they also learnt about key personal qualities including team work, sportsmanship and how to deal with winning and losing. The children definitely improved in their fitness and also as individuals. Smiles all round.
Thank you “Active Soccer” for your time and commitment to the next generation of players.

Dear Simon

On behalf of Warrington Town FC I would like to say a huge thank you for your help raising the profile of football in the town with your Active Soccer workshops.

I have heard excellent feed back from various quarters on how well you run your soccer schools and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending your services.

It has been a pleasure working with you throughout the year and we would happily endorse your soccer schools to any one.

Warrington is obviously a hot bed of young soccer talent and it is great to see you working with youngsters in the local community.

Keep up the good work and I would like to take this opportunity of wishing you every success in the future – and hopefully it won’t be too long before we see one of your youngsters running out for Warrington Town!

Yours sincerely
